The relative weight of buy and sell order executions that lead to up and down movements in a financial market. A market order buy is executed at the ask price; a market order sell is executed at the bid price. Bullish order flow means buyers are purchasing at the ask in a stronger weight than sellers are selling at the bid. Bullish flow raises share price, whereas bearish order flow reduces share price.
